Family:

•  my gorgeous wife Teresa was born in Del Rio, Texas, in an Air Force family… they traveled often when she young and lived in many places including Oklahoma, California and The Netherlands.
• our son Hunter was born 1995 while I was in grad school in Abilene, Texas
• our son Josiah was also born in Abilene, Texas, in 1996
• our son Isaac was conceived in Tanzania and born in Trussville, Alabama, in 2001
• Jose is just a brown Chihuahua and Su Chen is a pretty, if annoying, Burmese cat

My Timeline, kinda:

• born and raised in the Dallas, Texas, area… specifically living in the towns and cities of Grand Prairie, Midlothian and Irving.
• graduated from Chester W. Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas, in 1988
• spent two years training and living as a missionary apprentice through the AIM program of the then called Sunset School of Preaching in Lubbock, Texas… lived in Malindi, Kenya, for a year and a half in 1989-1990
• returned to Texas and attended Abilene Christian University, receiving a B.S. in 1994 and an M.S. in 1997
• after university was completed we worked with a church in East Texas, churches in various parts of Alabama, we planted churches in Tanzania for two years, and worked with more churches back in Texas.
• currently live Bethesda, Maryland, where I serve as pastor of Church in Bethesda
